ELENA CHIRDARIS
Elena Chirdaris was born and raised in Colombia from Greek parents. In her early teens, she moved to Miami and then to Athens, where she finished Fine Arts in La Verne University in 1994. She then continued her studies at Sotheby’s Institute of London finishing in 1996. Elena has participated in 8 solo exhibitions and in more than 40 group exhibitions in Barcelona, Copenhagen, Miami, NY City, Belgium, Medellin, Athens and in several other cities in Greece and Europe. She has also participated in numerous important charity exhibitions and events. Her work is in the permanent collections of the Corfu Gallery (‘Kerkyraiki Pinakothiki’), the American College in Greece and private collections in Colombia, United States and Europe. Chirdaris' artworks have been published in three of VRS's (VALUATION & RESEARCH SPECIALISTS) case studies; in the books written by Naji Cherfan which have been translated into six languages, in the 2005 '20 Contemporary International Artists', and in the 2005 Calendar from a private collection's art works.
